ABOUT ME

My passion for photography began at a young age. Starting with disposable cameras, then a point-and-shoot, I began to document family trips and whatever caught my eye as a child.

After getting my first Nikon DSLR camera in 2016, the world of digital photography expanded for me. I was the lead photographer for The Uproar, an online newspaper at North Allegheny Senior High School, the Artistic Director for VARIATIONS, a literary magazine at North Allegheny Senior High School, and Director of Photography for Scarlette Magazine, a fashion magazine at the Ohio State University.

I am now a photographer for Blue Heron Media, a Pittsburgh-based media production company. Eventually switching to the Sony A7III, I have continued to grow my own personal client base, professionally shooting portrait and event photography.

As I grow older, I find myself exploring new techniques, styles, and equipment such film photography on the Canon G-III QL17, passed down through my family for generations, and Polaroids.

While photography has served many purposes over the years (documenting family holidays, bonding with family and friends, having an artistic outlet throughout college, and financially supporting myself in graduate school), I always find myself returning back to the basics of capturing ephemeral light and shadow in quiet moments.
